چکیده

Due to international fragmentation, production increasingly occurs in global supply chains (GSC). The common belief is that this leads more specialization, which implies concentration of imports and exports over time. In paper, we empirically test hypothesis by analysing the geographical sectoral GSC period 1995–2011. We adapt traditional Herfindahl’s indexes a multi-regional input–output framework. Taking information on intersectoral interregional linkages into full account gives GSC. are at different aggregation levels, enables us examine both patterns. After that, analyse effect country’s its gross domestic product (GDP) per capita. Our findings are: an increase from 1995 2011; growing role played China other Asian countries; less for European Union significant positive GDP capita; negative concentration.
